Game Diary: 012

Good morning everyone! So, right now I'm wrapping up the last of the events for eating that have Gabriela. It took me a little longer than I though it would, though to be fair I also kept taking breaks to work on other areas of the game, coding mostly, and I finished up the girthy pear weight.

Side note, my artist pointed out to me that only working on one body shape would really limit the early appeal of my game and demo, so, for now I'm going pause work on pear and focus on the other body shapes when I get back to work on them.

Anyways, as I was saying I'm working on wrapping up the last of the eating events that have Gabriela in them. After I finish with that I'm going to work on the new and improved Relationship tab that I showed off a few posts ago. I'm going to add Gabriela and Dranaria to it first. It took me a while to get it working as I wanted it so that you can enter the relationship tab from anywhere and then return the same tab. It took a while but I figured it out. Then I ran into a bug where you could just go to the relationship tab and then back to the tab you where just on and it'd continually add any variables that were added on that tab. Basically you could eat infinitely without actually eating. But don't worry, I fixed it.

So, what will be in the next update? Well...

(If you're wondering why the names are squished like that its because that's the names of the events in game and how they're stored.) So, the top four things are the last remaining events for eating that have Gabriela. After I finish those up, which should only take me like 1-2 days to finish I just have to finish up Danrica's code and then make her first Description (It's actually kinda funny, she can already gain weight in game as I added it in the same time I added the players weight gain but you can't tell because you never see her in the game, yet.). After I finish adding Danrica's first descriptions I'm going to work on the Relationship tab, which should be really easy as most of it is going to be stagnant as Gabriela and Danrica are mostly background characters I won't have to add a whole system for them like with more important characters. So, once I have everything set up and added update Alpha 0.04 will be out. It'll released as a dev update (meaning only tiers Baroness and above (Including The eight Squires) will be able to play it. After a week or two of it being played and tested by these tiers I'll release it to the Knights. The reason I'm releasing it like this is because this version is sure to have bugs and errors that I haven't found as it has a considerable amount of new features that need to be stress tested.
