There are some videos of the concert online - none of them are perfect - one has burned in subtitles, another is missing the start of the show. However, you should know that there are SPOILERS for you in the full concert. (a) for the Christmas episode - which is probably not a spoiler now because I imagine you've seen it; (b) a minor spoiler for one of the spin-off shows which had started when the concert was performed. I have just checked and the following parts are safe from spoilers if you just want to check out the style of the concert: Doctor Who: Dalek Suite (Live, Cardiff) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dq4DSv5i3fI Doctor Who: A Celebration Remastered Part 19 - Doomsday https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dpJEFOBdEu4

Oh thank you for the info about the music track. That is so interesting. And I really would have loved to see that concert. Do you maybe know, if the whole concert is up there somewhere on Youtube? I would really love to check it out. :)

Don´t worry. It´s ok :) I really appreciate you commenting. It´s not about the amount of sentences, just the comment itself makes me feel happy :) And yes it was veeeery emotional for sure.

The Murray Gold music track "Doomsday" emphasises the tragedy of the finale. I can't hear the track without imagining the white wall separating the two characters - now in different universes yet almost within touching distance. The composer said that the inspiration for the music was to be like Rose's beating heart - a throbbing hurt that makes you want to go up to your bedroom and have a cry. There was a live benefit concert hosted by David featuring music from Doctor Who between the end of the second season and the Christmas episode. They had the monster costumes (Daleks, Cybermen, Clockwork people) come out on stage for the different music pieces. You can see the kids in the audience loving seeing the monsters up close. Part of the concert was shown in a Doctor Who Confidential episode - Anthony Head was the narrator.

Sorry, that was a bit of an anti-climax after I promised to save my comments for this episode. I couldn't think of anything better to say! It is a very emotional roller-coaster and you can't tell what will happen until the very end. The parting had many people in tears so you're not alone there!

Thank you for your comment. :) By the way, Lambie is a cute name :)

There's a love story on one side and a war on the other. Yes, that's Doctor Who. And yes, there is always change. When I was a kid my favourite toy was a lamb. I called it Lambie.
