Haha all your points are about Martha, true :D And of course they are, because Martha is the treasure of this episode. She is the character that made this episode interesting. At least for me. :) I really want to understand why you seem to really like this episode, too. I just don´t, that´s a little frustrating. I want to like it, too. :) Thanks for the clarification about Marthas boyfriend. :)

And every time something like that happens, I really try to understand how other people do see the episode. I try to find things that I can like. But it never helps. That´s just strange. But I really liked seeing Martha and Owens death was great, I just didn´t connect with the clinic story.

I quite like this episode even though it has a simple plot. It's a well-done investigative "thriller" story with an alien twist - plus it has Martha Jones and a shock ending which boosts my story rating. Martha's contact lenses are a fun "James Bond" tech thing. We even have a nicer Owen in this episode who finally arranges to go out on a date with Tosh - but ... then ... I also like the way Owen and Martha work as a team. Also, the near miss to Ianto when Owen is demonstrating the "scalpel" to Martha was memorable. Martha does have a boyfriend in this story. In the original broadcast order: Martha meets Tom in "Last of the Time Lords"; next we have this Torchwood "Reset" episode where he is the boyfriend as mentioned; and a few months after that we see her in "The Poison Sky" etc where she is now engaged. Most of my points were about Martha - how about that?

Martha joining the team; nasty clinic; even nastier insect-thing; suspense; gripping Finale; Owens death. If only all Torchwood episodes were this good! *Ok, I've just listened to your post reaction thoughts. They just go to show how we all enjoy different things!
