Yes it really is :D Thank you for the "Edward" explanation. I could have never guessed that one, never heard of it before. :) Dekker is creepy to me, too :D

"Well I don't know. I've not gone into hiding before" - Rhys Williams, "Children of Earth - Day Two". It's getting good, isn't it? We have a thriller-style episode - individual groups on the run. They can't use their phones, they have no money. Who can they trust? - well, Lois for a start! And Captain Jack gets embedded in a block of concrete only for the wonderful Ianto to drop it off a cliff. And the sound-track goes silent while it falls. BTW another potato reference: Rhys talks about naming the child "Edward" - quite an English (Anglo-Saxon) name and not one that would spring to mind for a child from Wales. It's a joke - it's a reference to King Edward potatoes - because they were sitting on potatoes. I'm not sure what makes the scientist (Dekker) creepy to me? Is it that he seems to be enjoying the horrible situation too much? "She shot the wheels. What kind of terrorist shoots your wheels?", PC Andy Davidson, "Children of Earth - Day Two".

Do you know what book you would have picked? I think I would have picked a coloring book and some pencils :D :D Thank you for explaining the spuds for me. I have never heard of that word :D The fork lift was the only one that I know, but I don´t know either wether this was one, or not. :D Thank you for your thoughts about the aliens. I´m very curious how this will turn out. The story is amazingly disturbing :D Yes Lois is a great character :D

I really enjoyed Rhys and Gwen working together too. And I think I would have tried to pack a book too. Being in hiding might be quite boring otherwise! I'm with him on the need to get food when it is finally available too. Yes, spuds is a British slang word for potatoes although I think it may be used less often these days. I can't remember the last time I heard a young person say it. I'm not sure whether the vehicle that Ianto used to rescue everyone is called a fork lift truck or if I'm confusing my construction vehicles. The aliens seem to be contacting the people in charge of the UK/Britain because they have had some contact before. I don't suppose good or bad comes into it. That's as much as I understood when we got this far anyway. This is the third time I have watched the series properly. The other reactions I've seen were very edited. But it never becomes any less tense or disturbing. Lois is brilliant, isn't she?
