[A] Demigod Love x Human Rogue Warrior 

You and the head scholar at the Aether Hub summon a demigod to help a world that is in crisis. To your surprise, the demigod that steps through the portal is Kali: your long-lost love. You and Kali had been friends, comrades-in-arms and madly in love, once. Due to a misunderstanding (on her part), Kali had left the earthen plane, heartbroken, believing that you had betrayed and abandoned her in a time of need. Now, here she is again...For a few days, you do not speak to one another, but finally, as you set up camp tonight, she begins to reluctantly talk to you. She tells you her side of the story, and you clear the air by telling her the truth about what happened. Relieved, and furious with herself, she weeps silently, until you gently comfort her, telling her that your feelings have never changed. You prove this by showing her that you still carry the ring you meant to propose to her with, and she knocks you to the ground in joy…

[B] Halloween Fair & Maze with a Scaredy-Cat Crocodilian! 

All your friends have dates for Halloween this year. Determined to not be the odd one out, you obtain a magical card from the Cozy Couples service. The card allows you to summon a compatible date, and the woman who appears is a crocodilian humanoid from another realm! You take her to the local fairgrounds, where she is mesmerised by the sweets, the music, and colours. However, you notice that she avoids anyone wearing a scary costume. She tells you she isn’t scared, and to “prove it,” she declares that she wants to enter the fairground’s corn maze. When a staff member dressed up as a zombie jumps out, your date screams in fright, whimpers, and jumps into your arms. She then confesses that she’s always been a scaredy-dile when it comes to horror, and rather than make fun of her, you carry her the rest of the way through the maze, even agreeing to a second date.

[C] Queen of Fae Helps Cure Your Bad Dreams

Something has been plaguing you, causing horrifying nightmares and feeding off your fear. Despite being on the verge of becoming delirious, you manage to make your way to the inner sanctum of the Fairy Queen’s Garden, and summon her by presenting honeyed wine and golden custard. When she sees you, she is appalled by your appearance, and you explain that for the past two weeks, you have been having nightmares about your worst fears. Nothing you have tried so far has helped. The Queen searches your soul, and finds a Night Mare, a spiritual parasite, attached to you. She extracts the parasite by temporarily removing your soul from your body, then she stuffs the Night Mare into her mouth and eats it. She then offers you the rest of the food and a bed of flowers to lie upon, with her lap as the pillow.

[D] Drunken Master Monk (Moonfolk) Trains You to Battle Vampires

You have unwillingly been roped into a mission that involves helping the critically-endangered Lunarian people, whose capital is under siege by hordes of jiangshi (Chinese vampires). You summon the master monk Tsing Tao, who is a combination of drill sergeant and drunkard. She explains how she herself was a victim of the vampires more than a thousand years ago, and begins to whip you into shape. She teaches you how to access the Sacred Moonshine Drunken Trance state to open your mind to new abilities and understandings. Tsing Tao tells you that once the planet is safe, people will be falling over you and want to be your partner. She then offers to be your “test date.” At this stage you are hammered, having taken many swigs from a special bottle of alcohol, as Tsing Tao flirts with you while teaching you how to fight the vampire lord.

[E] Kobold Companion/Familiar x Wizard Summoner

You are an ambitious but impoverished wizard, with delusions of grandeur and plans to conquer the lands. You believe that such an up-and-coming conqueror should have yourself a fitting companion, and so, you decide to summon a dragon. However, the creature that appears from the ritual doesn’t look like a dragon – it’s a kobold! As you look at it in dismay, the kobold asks for its first orders. You are upset, and tell her to do whatever she wants. The kobold goes about gathering shinies for you, and informs you that she is setting up traps around your place of residence. That night, during dinner, the necromancer who you are renting the property from comes to harass you. You tell her you can’t pay at the moment, and she summons an undead army to get you. With the aid of your little kobold and the traps she set, you manage to fight off the forces! The two of you then settle down to enjoy your meager meal, and you realise that though your kobold may not be a dragon, she sure has the heart of one.
