You are one of the divine beings that preside over the forests and mountains. You don't remember how long you've lived...

Once, you fell in love with a lamia warrior. She was brave and outspoken, and unfortunately, mortal. She died fighting for you, defending your forests and mountains against an encroaching dark force.

It is now 100 years later, and while observing your lands and the creatures that dwell upon them, you suddenly notice a lamia with similar colouring and appearance to the one you loved. What is even more striking, is that on her body is a birthmark, in the exact shape of a burn mark your lover had in her previous life.

You observe her for months, and come to the conclusion that it is the same lamia, reborn. You also find out that her current name is Marda. Marda is a seamstress who also works as a part-time fortune teller. She is extremely soft-spoken and shy -- a big contrast to the larger-than-life personality she had in her warrior life.

Finally, unable to hold back, you materialise in the forest, just as Marda is returning home. She does not remember you, but due to her psychic powers, she recognises that you are a divine being. She asks how she can be of service, and you tell her you just "want to spend an ordinary day with her."

Marda is perplexed, but goes along with it, not being one to question the will of a divine being. She brings you into her home, which is located within a huge tree. There, you ask her to sew a magical cloak for you. Afterwards, she reads your fortune with her divining basin, and it is then that the truth is revealed…

You talk late into the night, and soon, Marda informs you that it is her sleep time. You inform her that you would like to sleep as well, and she raises her eyebrow at you, as divine beings do not need to sleep. However, she remembers that you used to enjoy it when she would wrap her tail around part of your body, while you laid your head on her stomach. You do so, and she hums you a song – something she remembers from long ago.
