Sophie ventures into the very heart of the baths of Saint Sephoria and finds herself transformed into a lactating hucow riding atop a very ornate milking throne!
When the prompt for this came in from Amanda Clover, my mind went into hyperdrive! I wanted to make something that was more than just a simple milking machine, so I thought about Italian renaissance sculpture and Victorian steam punk, and combined the two in the designs of the machine. The copper and glass fish that suck from her nipples are inspired by glass floats that some fishermen use in the Mediterranean ocean. And even the chalice that collects her nectar is reminiscent of 'loving cup' trophies from the Gilded Age (Late 1800s to early 1900s).
Viewed from the bottom, the viewer is guided from poisonous hermit crabs that scuttle among the corals that thrive in the humid, steamy caverns, past the amorous fish people, all the way up to the temple lined grounds of the Baths of Saint Sephoria.
