It makes more sense, in Japanese, but right before Darui was sucked into the gourd, he said the words "da rui", and I don't know what it means literally in Japanese, but it is almost the same as the word "darui", which means "dull", or in this translation "drab". In my opinion, it sounds better in dub when he instead says "you will not inDULge me". And in case you didn't notice all three of the Cloud shinobi have names that were also their most used words - Darui (dull), Samui (cold/cool), and Atsui (hot).
