Change in Account Practice
Added 2017-10-08 22:36:20 +0000 UTCI tried to give my patrons the benefit of the doubt by continuing to produce easily-accessible content even without the charge up front function enabled, but today alone I've had over $130 worth of "samplers" to my account who pledged, took content, and then vanished without waiting for the pay cycle. Between these content thieves and a number of pledges that have popped up since the start of the month that appear suspicious in nature, I'm going to be changing my account practices, which means that until I can get charge up front enabled, I am going to be individually messaging content only to patrons whose payment information has cleared at least once. With any luck this will keep more thieves from coming in, stealing content, and then vanishing without going through with their pledge, and will keep patrons who have been loyal to their pledges happy with the amount of content and interaction coming from this account.
I apologize that a few bad seeds had to ruin what I had hoped would be a fun, beneficial experience for all of us and I appreciate those of you who have been loyal pledgers more than I can express.
