Shy Arcanine
Added 2022-02-16 19:47:46 +0000 UTCA for fun sketch that I originally did on paper, since I cant use my computer atm, and then drew over + corrected in photoshop on my fiances laptop! Using his laptop reminds me of when I first started digitally drawing, how weird it felt to use a tablet and getting my hand used to it :) Good memories. Same feelings now- it's been hard trying to get my hand used to the weird orientation of the tablet when im not at my desk. I was originally planning to work on commissions, but i'm not able to with this setup- so in the meantime i'll continue just doing practice stuff like this!
I've been playing a lot of pokemon lately, and anthro Arcanine is something ive wanted to draw for a long time! Im happy I was able to draw him finally!
His pose/expression also reminds me of JZlobo's Sammy :) It was unintentional, but I think there's definitely some kinda subconscious influence there!
I dunno if I'll do anything with this sketch though- maybe a YCH? I dont really know if theres much demand for arcanine ychs though- maybe I could werewolf-ify him?
