No TH today / No Chapters Tuesday

Hey all,
Just a quick note, I will not be finishing TH today, or posting Tuesday
Why? Well, long story short, my condo was flooded nearly three months ago, and the repairs still haven't been finished. My spare key is still with the restoration company.
Today the condo company called and asked me to let ANOTHER company into my place on Tuesday. The restoration company won't let others use my key (which is actually a good thing), but I don't have a second spare that I can just leave behind, and the place I'm currently staying in is over an hour from home.
I've been told they'll be at the complex between 9 and 5, so the best plan I've been able to come up with is drop off my key, spend some time doing chores around the condo, and wait until they finish.
It's either that or spend four hours in the car.
Either way that leaves no time for me to do my regular full day of writing.
I'll think about maybe doing a chappy on the weekend, or trying to catch up next Wednesday, but no promises.

2025-01-18 01:46:52 +0000 UTCAdulting does indeed suck. But, you're also a bit of a workaholic (writeaholic?) so taking a day off for forced rest? Might work out for the best in the long run. Embrace it. Do the chores, give that creative mind of yours some rest and use the experience in a later chapter for one of your stories to capture that "hurry up and wait" feeling. Armies worldwide are famous for it. Maybe a chapter that has the uplifted bears like Bob and Bandit discussing Bear life amongst themselves?
