A Guide to the spirit world

Comments

I have to agree with the other comments. If you was faced the decision to let a person you love to get killed or by save her, even if you had to bring geat evil to the world. Its hard to choose the world over one person you love, even if it would be the right decision. I think Aang would had done the same decision as Korra in her position

Deebee i usually agree with you but I really don't think korra had much options. You can't take all the growth away from her for being practically forced to open it. Jinora dies and korra still gets water bended out of the spirit world. So pretty much she was just screwed from the start.

I honestly think opening the portal was all she could do here. You seem to have forgotten that Unaloq was ready to kill Jinora right then and there. Korra had no bending to fight back with, and Unaloq has better control over the spirits. She really had no choice.

I'm not gonna spoil a thing, but you're not where why people dislike this season so much...

Seeing Iroh again is the only good thing about Korra.

To be honest I kind of think that ending was the best outcome that could be hoped for in that situation. Jinnora was definitely going to be killed in Korra didn't do what Unaloq wanted, and it seems unlikely that Korra would even be able to close the south portal with all those dark spirits and Unaloq there. Also I think its a bit unfair to blame Korra for not staying positive in that situation, I'd like to see anyone stay positive when confronted by the man who threw their culture into civil war and is currently threatening the child you're responsible for. Even if Korra could somehow stay positive herself she would have to contend with both Unaloq and Jinorra's negative emotions, even if she is the Avatar. I just don't really see how it could have gone much better.

IROH IS BACK!!! I'm not gonna lie I might have sobbed when I saw Iroh when i first watched that episode. Also I may or may not have slept through the rest of this season not gonna lie XD

Jennifer

I think the issue of that was just the writers, writing themselves into a corner on time restraints. Honestly it’d be kind of hard to believe Jinnora getting out of there in that situation either way
