This. Drove me nuts when I hear english on top of english at the same time. The weird thing for me is I've watched so much anime to the point I can multi-task listen to both English and Non-English at the same time, and its easier than listening to multiple Eng voices at the same time. It's very difficult to focus on two diff conversations at the same time.

2025-03-22 00:26:38 +0000 UTCHe def got a ton of bonus points due to the fact he went into the Penalty Zone, so luckily he didn't get any penalty for how short or long his fight with the Shadow Army was. While he was in the Penalty Zone, the Summoners kept summoning more knights, since he defeated so many (and so many were converted into the giant Knight, which he then defeated), the number of bonus points probably exploded.

2025-03-17 04:33:07 +0000 UTCFor the island name you were closer to getting it right. Kanan Island is just the Japanese regional dub version I believe. Pretty sure there's a Japanese regional dub & an international one with different translations in the Japanese regional version cause the source material isn't Japanese. Someone correct me if I'm wrong here please, but without plot info. Edit: ah yep, the episode after used the international version.

2025-03-17 03:51:02 +0000 UTCAbout the island name, Japan and Korea have different names for the island. The written form is based on the Japanese name and the dialog is for the Korean one. Solo Leveling was originally a Korean light novel / manhwa and make into a joint effort anime. There's some historical context that made the Japanese localization team rename characters and places to be more appealing to Japanese audiences. There's plenty of articles that go more into depth on this, but I figured I could give you the basics.
