2024-05-26 17:58:32 +0000 UTCThat's my point. The reason why this arc exists is "plot demands it" because Gon and Killua are the protagonists and we follow them. It is not about showing or skipping the training, it's about the fact that we wait for them to train to begin with. The world shouldn't revolve around them. This doesn't feel like how the hunter association and netero would respond naturally to the ant crisis, like it completely kills off the sense of urgency that was established before. And while stuff like this happens all the time in anime, I just wanted to say how this arc in particular doesn't feel believable for me. But it's still fine, since it's still enjoyable and the saga as a whole is great.

At least this way, it's a logical progression that we know happened, instead of just timeskipping the entire thing

XD That aside, I never liked this "training arc", not because of what happens or the characters, but because of the setup. It feels like "forced" for plot reasons. That's why it's probably best to ignore that and just enjoy what happens as it comes :D.

Since the divination is meant to show your main category of Nen. You could do that in battle though, yes. Edit: Probably best for you to guys to refer to the guards as Pitou, Pouf and Youpi. Their full names are a bit of a pain.
