Added 2021-04-16 14:58:04 +0000 UTCAm I caught up yet? In the mashup scene, never! There's constantly new work being produced, but since I already had well over 100 tracks compiled, I figured why wait till the end of the month to go through everything in "the pile."
APRIL 2021 mashup zip pack includes:
• A ton of mashups with Lil Nas X's #1 single "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)." As is usually the case with brand-new songs, nothing groundbreaking for this first round, but we ARE partial to ones by William Maranci and Lewis Wake.
• Speaking of... another month, another Lewis Wake mashup album! I've cherry-picked the best from his Mashups, Volume 9.
• Dug through the back catalogs of several mashup producers, so there's a ton of stuff from French producer DoM (who mashes up a lot of classic 70s/80s material), Doug Ferguson (definitely an 80s rocker), Ray C (another new YouTuber gunning for Bill McClintock's "dad rock mashup" crown), and One18, another relatively recent producer.
• Quite a few Duran Duran mashups, since I just released the "Duran Duran Mashed" mixtape. These are the new ones made for the album (including two from me, Adriana A) plus the ones that didn't make the cut.
• Plus, new mashups from iWillBattle, King of Pants, Salvafreak, Marc Johnce, ToToM, and many more.
