To give the effect of antiquity on the walls, there are several methods. I chose brushing. To do this, you need a drill and a metal nozzle (pics 5,6). It works in such a way that upon contact with the wood surface, the brush pulls out the softer layers of wood and leaves more stable ones - this is how the natural pattern of the tree is revealed. Showed on the video how it works.
After I am satisfied with the texture of the wood, you can cover the product with tar. To do this, I get pine tar and linseed oil, while adjusting the shade by eye. The more oil I add, the lighter the color. For walls, I added a lot of oil, for the foundation, the proportion was 1 to 1 (pics 9,10)
