Ironblood - Exopod preview

Hello everyone,

June Part2 is coming soon, and I wanted to preview the Exopod.

This is a model that took me a lot of effort to conceptualize and then design in 3d, but in the end I think it ended up looking great. As a former engineer, I probably over-complexified the doors articulations, but once assembled it is very satisfying to deploy.

The model is pretty big, about 115mm diameter (closed) and 160mm tall (+30-40mm above the base). It can hold inside a hollow clear Ø50mm tube, and you can see a breed of Iron Flesher is growing inside. It also includes parts to build several crew plodders of the Ironblood either working on consoles, aiming with rifles, seated, or using the upper deck pintle cannons.

The inside of the Exopod also has some customization options, such as extra seats, ladders, consoles, electrical panels, weapon rack.

It can be based either on ground with landing pads, or floating, using an 8mm bar (included rock base to fit the bar).

Above and under the Creature which is inside, there's also room for LEDs (can fit those Ø30mm wateproof remote tealights).

The complete print took me about 4 plates on my Saturn. Pictures coming soon.

A monster hauler version will come very soon as well.
