This was super fun and I'll definitely be checking out that video. I do vaguely remember the bloodbowl tourney but I don't think I checked much of it out at the time. The 'Tales from Lake Woebegone' remind me a lot of the 'Dave and Morley' stories from Stuart Mclean. Similar gentle chill vibe but more Canadian. As to a topic, how about sloths.

2020-12-23 23:03:12 +0000 UTCOk, so The News from Lake Wobegon was a segment where Garrison Keillor would tell some story (improv or pre-written) about what had been happening in Lake Wobegon that week, whether it was a story about Old Man Jenkins doing some crazy shit or something about the weather or just how the town handled a local event or whatever. I had hoped you'd heard of it because it was a pretty popular thing in the Midwest. (I only heard about it when I lived near Madison for a while) Edit: also, Grats on pronouncing "Kivik" correctly. Almost nobody does.

The novel writing I can totally relate to as I sit here working on line edits for my second book. This editor went nuts! I didn't get the same editor as the first book so this one had many questions and objections. My thought is she should have read the first one like anyone would do. Q: What is your ideal vacation? I ask because I had mine about a month ago and everything was against me. It was not a good time.
