I want to first if all apologize for the lack of new games, but there is a good reason. As you probably know, we use Humble Choice for our games we give away. We buy a yearly subscription (that was originally gifted to us by an amazing Patron) and we get a handful of new games each month. When there are good sales, we also have an allotment of our budget to buy new games to put on our list here for you. We also sometimes make deals with the game companies themselves, such as SCS Software and Monster Games. So what am I talking about? Why am I apologizing?
I didn't add many new BIG games this month. Why? There was no good sale bundles.... and our main source, Humble Bundle has had three months of very crummy games! Games I didn't want to accept and give to you. They've been horrible game choices, minus a few. So luckily I can pause our subscribership and continue our subscription the following month. We don't lose a month and our yearly account and discount we have just extends. So that is all good.
It just means in the short term I have no BIG new games, but the long term, we solidify our continued stream of BIG new games to give away. I just hope we have some good months soon. In the photo above, you will see the games they have tried to give away to us, but I wasn't feeling it. It didn't seem like games YOU all would like. Some were pretty cool.... but just not enough to put our money down on it.
So in short, enjoy the same games from last month with a handful of smaller indie games ... but with a twist.... For every dollar you give monthly, you get a game! Let's hope they offer better October games and some good sales start so we can grab a bunch more stuff for you, our loyal, AWESOME, Adorkable Patron Pal!
Remember if you have Steam games you don't plan to use, you can donate them to us to give to others, heck, you can even trade if you want. I really don't care!
Last thing. Just because a game is listed here, doesn't mean we still have it. It is common for us to forget to remove a game after giving it away. Sometimes games are a limited time event as well, and we either don't realize it, or forget to remove it. We're pretty bad at our jobs... (Added Sept 24, 1:22pm)
Subscribers at $5 dollars can get FIVE free games.
Subscribers at $10 can get TEN free games.
Subscribers over that can honestly pick as much as they want.

So it turns out one was already given away, and the other was a "limited time" deal for some reason. I hope there aren't more limited time games they give away. That's kind of dirty.

I remember the first time I had enough money and bought two older games and was so excited, but actually got disappointed in the end because I didn't get time to focus on either one game. It forced me to choose one to play instead of just enjoying one fully. This was when I was a wee little tot.

2021-09-24 07:11:56 +0000 UTCI don't use a randomize tool, but I do manually move the games on the list each month to random spots. I also randomly throw in new games on the list in no particular order. So it's pretty random.

2021-09-24 00:49:02 +0000 UTCYeah I will get that for you. The list is also purposely not alphabetical. That way you have to look through to find any possible surprises. If it's in the same order each week, there is less likely a chance of finding something special. :)
