Sirens and rivalries
Added 2022-11-22 16:39:00 +0000 UTCI’ve gotten a lil rusty so I’ve been trying to get back into the hang of things with some DC comics sketches and drawings I’ve been meaning to do. Like a to do list with no deadlines, just things I wanna make my way to. I make those (personal projects) sometimes to have things to turn to when I’m in a creative slump.
In school they tell ya to steer clear of fan art, and while I think you don’t want it to be your only “thing”, I do think it’s actually pretty helpful. I’ve made most of my connections via fanart. Most of the time you’re just finding an audience that likes the things that you like.
Anywho!
Drew the Gotham city sirens since they’re a personal fave and I drew nightwing vs death stroke bc it’s one of my favorite rivalries in superhero comics. It’s finally getting some due justice as being the main rivalry in this most recent crisis event. I haven’t read much of it aside from that tbh.
Wanted to draw the sirens twice, one illustration incorporating them into a larger scene and one illustration where they ARE the scene
