2025-03-13 00:18:18 +0000 UTCBut I get what you mean.....the whole Comedy Big League style comedy is pretty cringey and even Korea SNL which is supposed to be more modern and young is cringey as well (and honestly like 90% of their skits are just sophomoric sex related). BUT, I do think dramas in the past 5 years have gotten so much better at just having funny situations vs actual performative comedy like in the kwangsoo mosquito dance era of dramas and those comedy leagues have just become a feeder system for comedians to become support actors/actresses (even the female NIS team member is on SNL right now like the bff from Attorney Woo, the newest Running Man member or the side grim reaper in Judge from Hell) Seo Kang Joon is, like, not A+ but more like B/B+ mostly bc of his distinct looks (specifically his super light brown eyes) and his visuals. If any of his dramas did well I'd say it was Are you Human Too or Watcher (which was excellent). That being said....given how popular this drama is right now, Im sure he'll have a FLOOD of offers bc of this drama
