2025-03-29 07:22:05 +0000 UTCi think they started foreshadowing it early on ๐ฅฒ in ep. 4, when aesun and gwansik were walking hand-in-hand after visiting geum myong: gwansik: "don't worry. i'll live longer than you." aesun: "why? you want a new wife after i die?" gwansik: "..." aesun: "do you want a new wife?" gwansik: "how can i leave you behind? i'd feel better if i gave you a good send-off first and followed afterward." ๐๐๐ but what solidified it for me was that scene on the boat with geum myeong, when she visited home after the breakup and they watched the sunrise together. her narration was: "that day, i saw a different sun. only after my sun (gwansik), the first to light up the lonely ocean, had set forever... did i realize how warm it was to be by my dad's side."
