Came here to say that Oh My Girl was one of the first girl groups that I stayed with from debut to now π. Itβs just something so beautifully pure and addicting that I love about them. And they have some sleeper vocalists as well!

HIP, Oh My God, Nonstop, Obliviate, and Come See Me were all after Queendom. Favorite Vocalist on the show is Wheein. Kei is amazing but other than Destiny I'm not a big fan of Lovelyz music. I've always rooted for Kei in every show I've seen her in though. Yooa and Yubin have my favorite voices in Oh My Girl although Hyojung and Seunghee are objectively better vocalists. I love whenever they trade off lines with each other like in the fifth season. And in Gidle I prefer Minnie's voice to Miyeon's. I first went into this show a huge Moomoo with Gidle being a group I had just discovered. I left being a big Oh My Girl fan. AOA is also great. I really don't like Park Bom's style of singing. Definitely that YG style. I loved the choir though. Yes, RBW bought WM, they're now a subsidiary. When RBW had a family concert all the WM and DSP groups also performed except Kard who were on tour. We even got a Solar, Hyojung, Goeun collab stage. I would fully support an Oh My Girl deep dive at some point. They're one of my favorite 3rd gen groups these days. Since Mamamoo isn't really active anymore. They just had a 10th anniversary concert and there's a high quality fancam of the entire thing on youtube which I've watched multiple times already. I don't think Lovelyz is actually back together, I think it was just for the reunion. I'm pretty sure they haven't released any new music. Best thing about Q1 is that it's the first season so Mnet can't spoil you on the winners of every other season during every episode :) For the first round keep in mind that this is the first show of this concept so most of the groups are treating it like a special music show stage and not like a MAMA stage. I agree that the Mamamoo decalcomanie stage was basically just the concert version with some flags and drums like a halftime show. So it deserves a low score on the concept front but their vocals were top tier as always and the stage presence won over the crowd. I don't think their first but I also don't think their last.

2025-04-25 05:23:01 +0000 UTCAs far as favorite vocalist on the show.....it's Whee In for me bc there's nothing she can't do vocally BUT as far as as a group as a whole, it's Oh My Girl (but that may just be my bias as they are my all time favorite kpop group ever). Obviously there's mamamoo but in all honesty, I just don't vibe with their discography that much. OMG is WAY more my style. Even just listening to various groups' Killing Voice's....OMG across the board has no weak spot vocally (even Arin who's the "weakest" vocalist but her tone is still so pretty and airy). Everyone goes nuts over Seunghee's voice and her adlibs but Hyojung is my favorite IN Oh My Girl bc her voice is just so damn stable. Kei is another one but it's VERY musical theater Yein and Jiae are regular cohosts on the Bae Sung Jae radio show and they are a RIOT

Hope your computer is well protected oh gosh....the Jimin/Mina feud was so long and back and forth but tl:dr, Jimin was right, Mina is a weirdo compulsive liar who's addicted to posting on SNS basically BUT she managed to basically end AOA so maybe she won in the end.
