I don't think it was the cause, but just symptoms that things were going in a bad direction. I think ultimately it was probably low album sales.

The group disbanded shortly after there was some controversy concerning one of the managers allegedly slapping one of the girls during a Vlive, and a member just leaving and going back to China and the company not even acknowledging it to their fans.
