Before joining UDT he was actually accepted into UDU, which is the elite black ops intelligence unit (think SEAL Team 6). he went through the training and everything but switched to UDT in the end because he was told your identity in a black/intel unit would be concealed. he knew he wanted to be a streamer/youtuber so that wouldn't work
