Oh, and the Run the World (while it IS Beyonce) isn't the theme bc of her. It's because of Street Woman Fighter which used it and it went viral bc of Emma (from Badvillain who at the time was part of the 1 the million dance crew)

Also, your americaness is showing through.....vaccinations were INCREDIBLY hard to get outside of the US and especially for smaller countries like South Korea (even though their economy was so large). From like January 2022 to May 2022 was the absolute WORST for South Korea in re to COVID cases and deaths

And it helps that they're popular rookies too. They only gotta bend the rules for 1 round the song switch mission to where they cant be picked but they can choose any of the artists to cover maybe?

2024-10-15 00:32:43 +0000 UTCand yeah, MNET did Ke1er kind of dirty....Wa Da Da was released like January 2022 and the first episode of Q2 was like in June 2022 (meaning it was probably filmed like a month after their promotions ended). There was absolutely no reason for them to be on the show given their discography at the time. Im pretty sure at the time of filming they had like 6 songs (one of which being the GP999 theme)

When it went viral (so like a day before Minjeong was supposed to meet Brave Bros and tell him they all decided to disband and 2 members had already moved out) they had these 4. The viditor video that went viral (of all the clips from the army bases) had all 5 members spread throughout. It's easy to remember them bc of the nicknames they got wneh Rollin went viral: Minjeong: Voice Goddess Eunji: Eye Goddess Yujeong: Squirtle Goddess Yuna: bob haircut Goddess *you know koreans and their nicknames with god/goddess

2024-10-14 22:42:49 +0000 UTCI understand why you're doing S2 over S1, but I still think S1 might be the best competition show MNET has ever done because it was prior to this CRAZY overproduced/fake drama route they went and actually felt much more communal (and really the only time a group has actually benefitted from being on the show afterwards)
