I was a lil surprised at how much the signals got recommend cause they aren't that interesting tbh it's cute to watch and see group dynamics but not much to react to lol. As someone else mentioned the lives are much more entertaining however they are a super long so that wouldn't make for good content i like to watch them while eating for entertainment. Anyways the signals are a good watch to see how idol life is outside of promotions and to see the more relaxed side of the members outside of scripted content. I saw that you mentioned pairs in another comment and no there arent set pairs however you can tell who is really close in the group cause they often do signals together. For example sohyun xinyu nien and mayu are a pretty solid group that you see in badge war 1 and 2 but the signals really confirm it. Other notable groups are next they are the only 4 members who trained together before joining triples so they are often together. Also jline is pretty close as well im sure speaking the same 1st lang is a big factor. Dahyun is basically mother so any pairing with her tbh. Her and sohyun are also pretty close especially in the older signals before xinyu joined. I notice that the younger ones tend to stick together (yeonji and soomin) same with the older ones. Especially the 07s. Roomies tend to get close (example: dahyun and kaede) so pairings are constantly coming and going. Theres more pairings but i wont get into that. Happy watching!

Signal are pretty chill yeah but we get to learn about the girls' personalities & dynamics with each other. I can watch them do anything tbh because the members are all so likeable & have a certain endearing charm to them. Girls Never Smile…? | EN | SIGNAL 240525 (ShiOn doing ASMR version of "Girls Never Die" and Yubin, Xinyu, Seoah and Hyerin trying not to laugh).

Basically everyday you could see the process of a kpop group being formed and participate in everything. I think some fans thought it'd be like a Big Brother kind of thing and there was a small contingent of original WAVs that got upset (as netizens do) that they kind of went away from this but honestly, once they actually started releasing music and promoting it was kind of impossible (and honestly, too much home channel content just means you're not busy enough to be promoting and actually performing so I always was fine with it as long as they were out being successful)

2024-10-16 01:08:00 +0000 UTCand generally speaking, MODHAUS tends to put a little more effort in the signals that are milestone markers for the group (so those with complete subunits or all 24) or destination SIGNALS like trips to Everland, etc. Outside of that, the ones that feature the true duos in the group tend to flow better (Yeonji/Soomin, hayeon/chaewon, Xinyu/Sohyun, yooyeon/(anyone bc she's such a weird anti social person that makes pairing up with her awkwardly entertaining) and any of the cooking ones bc they're all so bad at it (outside of Soomin and Mayu) and yeah, SIGNALS are just everyday, relaxed things. There are no games or anything like that. The whole point of them from the beginning was a daily checkin just to see how they're doing. Often, it's just a cpl of them with handheld cameras and the editors just try and stitch stuff together. The EARLY ones had a lot of training type stuff but those kinda stopped once the subunits got into gear and they had 10+ members. (In all honesty, Im not the biggest fan of them and was pretty surprised at how much they were being requested...but that's just me. I'd 10000% recommend some of the VLIVES but I know that would be HORRIBLE patreon content bc of their length) On their channel, the only "show" like thing is the VV vacation that just finished and the Chuseok special with the non-VV members

2024-10-16 01:00:02 +0000 UTCyubin just gave up on the rollercoaster (probably along with Mayu) lol.....that was a pineapple, not a chicken breast and yeah, if you watched The Manager episode you can tell right away the arms crossed guy is the manager in charge of monitoring/medical packs/collecting phones
