Someone once posted on Reddit that Daeul's survival was like a cockroach always crossing the edge of a cliff. So far it has always been in the last rankings 56th, 36th, 19th (before combining the votes), 14th & 9th. And now that has become a reality. Actually, Daeul was the final blow that shook the Polarix Fandom. For Xinche & Shihuan in a week to collect votes even though we don't like it, we can't fight their monetary power. 9th place was most people's hope of saving the more talented Trainees. Hangyul's decline in votes was also predictable because it was a very heavy burden for the BAE173 fandom which held 2 survival show. Most of the votes that Hangyul got were pure General votes because Yoojun even got more Gift vote/Galaxy vote than Hangyul. Understandably Fandom really wants to pass more than 1 member. Xingxing has indicated that he doesn't want to debut so his fanbase in China stopped voting, only international fans continued. Sungmin really cried very sadly when he failed to debut with Polarix. The Fantasi Boy fanbase in Korea apparently announced the stopped voting because they hoped Lingqi & Sungmin would return to the original group. The hero that made this event not getting worse was Junhyuk's fanbase because in the last round they really went all out to give 182x Galaxy votes so they could shift Shihuan from second place. I can't imagine how awkward Ziheng vs Shihuan scene would be on screen for the battle for Polaris position π€£
