Ummmm I do not think so, I just looked back at Ep 1 and all she says is she is giving him "the ability to understand, speak, read, and write languages other than the hyuman language." I think she just gave the knowledge of all languages and left out the hyuman language. She at least doesn't say anything about cursing his ability to speak Common in the future haha I think I remember early in season 1 he is practicing speaking Common and just cannot figure it out, he even got the Common accent down. Who knows maybe that is part of a curse that the Goddess didn't mention, but I interpret it as he just could figure out how to speak it on his own XD

2024-06-15 07:21:36 +0000 UTCI am on the Goddess' side for exactly one thing: Makoto not being able to speak Common actually is just Makoto's fault lol. She gave him perfect comprehension of every language besides Common, but that doesn't mean she made it impossible for him to learn Common! He just couldn't learn it on his own... Now I am not saying it is simple to learn a whole new language, but he at least cannot blame the Goddess and say she cursed him She is awful, but she ain't wrong about this XD
