2024-06-29 06:13:02 +0000 UTCIt is only episode 22 for this season... 24-26 is more common. The banquet is the next story arc, so it may at least begin with episodes 23 and 24. The reasons for the dislike/hatred of the various families within the Yotsuba is explained at one point in the arc, so if they do the arc we should see that animated. However, a lot of content has already been cut from the books that make up this season, so we may not. On a different note, if you have not seen it, the Honor Student at Magic High School covers the events of the first season from the POV of Miyuki, Mayumi, Emi, Honoka, and the others who were off-screen much of the time. It then develops its own plotline to parallel the Nine Schools arc.
