Blessed be, I have not perished under July's heat. This year's renfaire was 30 degrees cooler than last's, which is good because I was fighting in armor and literally would have died. Now only August's furor remains to be faced; my hopes of surviving the season remain high. Warg Riders will be pleased to find that the Early Access doc now finally contains all the player content rolled together in one place.

Stuff You Should Check Out: 

• Mazes and Monsters You've probably heard of this Satanic Panic era Tom Hanks movie about how D&D leads to madness and witchcraft, but I urge you to give it a watch if you haven't, both for its hilarity and as a window into a cultural moment of mass hysteria.

• Disco Elysium I'm real late to the party on this one, but in case you are too - this roleplay-focused CRPG is wildly good, in a way I don't know that I've seen before; every aspect is dripping with perspective and intent and some of the sharpest humor I've ever encountered in media.

Y'all sick of cults yet? I'm sure you are, but you're getting more anyways; in my secret heart I'm a real hundred-percenter, and I just can't abide leaving the set incomplete. Vecna's coming down the pipe too, though, so don't cancel your sub quite yet.
