After watching the terrible Amazon series that was canceled after one season, Allison & I had to go back and watch the movie that started it all...
I Know What You Did Last Summer is about a bunch of hot people getting killed off one by one by a fisherman and that's basically the plot of every movie in the franchise. Featuring childhood crush Jennifer Love Hewitt, a good chunk of the Scooby Doo cast, and then a bunch of people nobody knows in a straight-to-DVD entry, this movie series is delicious 90's nonsense and we can't wait to see the sequel / reboot / whatever at the drive-in!

2025-07-04 22:31:16 +0000 UTCMy favorite part is after spending the whole movie on a decently engaging mystery of who the killer is, it all goes to waste because it’s just some random guy we never heard of before. And I’m eagerly awaiting the new one just to see how the hell they treat Julie as some kind of expert on serial killers just because she happened to go through this.
