2025-09-26 22:05:34 +0000 UTCI'm not huge on TV tracks. Most often, the TV tracks don't align with my interests like your movie tracks do. I don't think they are low effort, and I get that there is someone who prefers TV tracks over movies. (Probably a lot). So I decided a few years ago that I would cycle on and off with PMI, allowing a few movies to accumulate (or a TV show I enjoy), and then join for a month or two before canceling again for a few months. Not everything is gonna interest me, but I'm glad you're filming what you enjoy covering. It's very cool that you welcome people to cycle on and off once they see stuff that interests them. Also, low effort would be like if you were watching tik tok during the recordings and barely talking. You always give it your all during each track. Not everything is for everybody, but everything is for somebody.

2025-09-23 10:09:57 +0000 UTCHey Eric, you’ve been my favourite YouTuber since discovering Pretty Much It back in 2012, I can even remember the specific video of yourself and Paul explaining who Thanos was after The Avengers came out - none of that was particularly relevant but I did want to say I’ve been a long and dedicated fan of yours. And since this video is addressing a “complaint” I also have one minor critique that has kinda occurred over the last couple years… (and it really is minor so please don’t get too mad at me 😅) It has nothing to do with volume of content but sometimes I do feel like you do rush through movies or shows (which I understand since you are typically bingeing or have other places to be) but commentaries used to have a bit more discussion or conversation about a movie once it finished. Some of my favourite commentaries are for Spiral, Identity, and the Blair Witch trilogy. All have a solid 20-30 minutes decompressing and talking about the twists and turns of the movie in totality or even how you would’ve changed things to make a movie better. I know not every movie warrants that discussion and it certainly isn’t an expectation I hold. I would just like to see it happen more. I hope this message reads less of a “complaint” and more of a wishful plea from someone who loves your work to talk about a movie once it’s finished (and not as a review) but general thoughts. Ehh, I hope this makes sense. Either way, have a fun day!
