Kathy's Hummingbirds - Original Painting

A traditional painting I made for my grandmother recently. My family has always associated her with hummingbirds, as she loves them, and a lot of other nature as well. She's always feeding birds, squirrels, any wild life that happens to come across her house. I did another drawing for her a while back that you may remember, but I wanted to make a traditional, one of a kind piece for her as well.
Quarantine has made me reflect on how privelged and lucky I am to have sich wonderful family. My grandmother has always been supportive of my art, so I always wabt to fill her life with it.
Good news is- it arrived safely to her house today and I am very grateful that the delivery person handled it with care, as i have never shipped a painting of this size before! I simply packed it in a recycled bubble mailer, wrapped it in tons of tissue paper, and hoped for the best.
