Mortaron - Party Discourse

The party finally arriving the Pyramid Rhazya and Aukan promised there would be treasure. They walked through traps and the spot where Rhazya and Aukan's previous adventuring party got (the other members died, something they omissed when assembling the current group).

The party ended up fighting a very powerful Undead Spell-Caster and the undead remains of the old party (a ceric guy, a elf rogue and a frost wizard). The fight was tough and hard depleting the party's resources and nearly dying several times, they finally brought down the undead, and the Spell-Casting boss turned to dust when he was defeated, even his clothes and gear (no one got high enough monster knowledge check to know what he was, but it starts on L- and ends on -ich.)

Then the group got trapped in a prison plane that acted as a corner hallway that would just end up in circles. The group finally got out when the set camp to rest and fell asleep, well... Most of the group, as Indilwen being a Eladrin don't sleep. Seeing that her companions had disappeared, she realized how to escape the plane, and went into a deep Trance focusing more on dreaming then her surroundings, achieving a near sleep state. She felt cold hands embrace her neck as she slipped through the prison plane and was joined with her companions once again.

From there, the group realized the they where not in the same place as before... Instead of being in the crypt of a pyramid, they where now in a cave, which lead to the home of a Tiefling woman sitting at a table with a scrying ball.

Aukan the Goliath got very testy with the woman, hostile and rude against her. She then silenced his voice, to stop his barrage of words. This was a tell tale sign that she was a very powerful person, as there was no saving throw against the spell. But, Aukan did not take the hint and started to walk menacingly forward the woman with intent to attack her crystal ball. The party tried to stop him inducing a PvP encounter where Rhazya stabbed him in the leg, using the dagger as a taser to stagger him. Jack grabbed him and they ended wrasslin' on the ground.

Ophelia took an intimidation check to stop him from being aggressive (the player rolled a nat 20, but the player ignored the intimidate), but to no avail and Indilwen tried to calm him down with a high diplomacy check, but that didn't work either. it ended with teh group knocking Aukan unconscious and hogtied him.

The group then was given riddles by the Tiefling fortune teller, and clearing them they group was awarded with Magical stones of Avandra (even Aukan got one) and then they was outside of the pyramid which seemed to be a test all along.

When Aukan woke up, he was really whiny about the group attacking him, not seeing things eye to eye, he left them as they set up camp to rest. But, it's not the last time we've seen Aukan (as the player intend to play him further)
