Patreon Shits the bed 2: Electric Boogaloo

First off, wanna say thanks to everyone for supporting through August and welcome to any newcomers now in September!

Last month patreon did some stupid shit that meant a bunch of payments declined and each patron had to personally take care of it, by contacting their bank and telling them the charge wasn't fraudulent.

Today, they undid it. And now some of you have to do that again. Isn't it wonderful?

The important bit:

If your patrons are having any trouble, here’s what they can do:

If their bank suspects that the Patreon payment is fraudulent, a patron can call up their bank to confirm the payment is theirs and genuine.
If their payment failed, they can follow these steps or switch to a different payment method.
If they are seeing an international processing fee, they can switch their pledge to a different bank that doesn’t charge for international payments.
They can reach out to the Patreon support team to get account specific help.

I'm sorry about this guys, hopefully this will be the last time this happens. It will however probably not be the last time Patreon does something stupid without telling anyone beforehand. Apparently that's just like, really difficult. (These emails were sent out on the 30th. Lovely.)
