Felicia Darkstalkers Art HQ + Sketches

The Marvel vs Capcom collection announcement last week gave me a sudden desire to draw something (sorta) related to it -- so in-between comic pages, I said hey, lets take a break from drawing a cat girl to draw a DIFFERENT cat girl.
Now that I think of it, this might be the first sort of 'humanoid' character I've drawn (that wasn't life drawings) in a hot minute. Felicia at least tends to show more... skin than most characters I'm used to drawing. All things considered, I think I still sorta got it! :D
But for real, Darkstalkers is sick. If I had more time to do so, I'd love to draw more of the cast at some point. Maybe some day!

I dont really have that much of an issue with the revealing skin part, but I do kinda miss when they drew her with a bit more musculature and more 'beast' like that way. I think modern Felicia tends to be rather skimpy or scrawny for my taste!

2024-06-27 00:47:20 +0000 UTCGreat work! Your comment about how she has more skin than you usually draw made me realize that I kind of wish she was officially designed like Izutsumi from Dungeon Meshi, where the parts of her body that appear to be skin is actually just flesh colored fur.
