oh wow! I'm sorry to hear that! I can't imagine how scary or confusing that must have been for you, but it's also so fascinating how delicate the brain and body can be... and I'm a raised catholic, but I'm not actively religious :)

I have some brain damage from an accident. I don’t remember the accident at all. I also lost more than half the memories of my life. I woke up the morning after the accident with a completely different personality from the one I had the day before so I’ve wrestled with trying to understand these questions ever since. Your perspective was interesting. BTW, I didn’t know you were religious. I was very religious the day before the accident but haven’t practiced my religion since and wouldn’t call myself a religious person now. That’ll be why I never considered your point about the soul before. I’m going to spend a lot of time thinking about that perspective. Thank you. I’m so glad I watch your videos 🙏
