most of the time Panda sees Ugly Cat as an abusive father figure. but despite the harsh training, coercing and isolation, Ugly Cat also show that he DOES care for his boy. for example during a mission when they got out of a tight situation that almost endanger their lives, UC went and hug Panda tightly, very glad that he is okay. and then proceed to be good to him for the rest of the day. moments like this gave Panda mixed feelings.
ever since Panda's father passed away, his mother never pay him attention, let alone to hug and comfort him. this kind of fatherly attention from Ugly Cat is what Panda has always craved for, but at what cost?
Admittedly, Panda does like it whenever Ugly Cat is being nice to him. It's as if, somewhere deep down, there still exists Daniel that makes Panda feel the same warmth he felt as a child... or maybe it’s just Stockholm syndrome kicking in. Nevertheless, he enjoys the moments of respite while they last.
