Tali observed, the planet swiftly becoming ever more distant in the view port. Her gaze was locked on to it’s position, even as it became a small speck of light, her eyes not leaving their position even after they passed visual range and all signs of the world faded.
“You could of stayed. I would understand.” Came a baritone voice to behind her.
She didn’t turn, speaking towards the window, “I couldn’t have, actually. Rannoch is our world again, but Earth… Your home is still lost. How could I live with myself if I ignored that.”
Shepard walked to her side, eyes moving to look at the position Rannoch would be, looking out the window with her, “Earth is not my home.”
She tilted her head, finally breaking her stare at her recently reclaimed planet moving to the human besides her, “But you grew up there. Unlike us, you actually knew the planet…”
“Not really.” He was at loose attention, legs shoulder width apart, hands held behind his back, “All I really saw of Earth was the city of Vancouver and even then, none of the good parts. I know logically it’s the home of Humanity, of course. I will fight with everything I have to pry it from those bastards grasp… But…”
He turned to her, warm eyes staring into her mask, “My real home is here.”
“Here?” She questioned, wanting him to elaborate.
“The Normandy. With the crew… No, I shouldn’t lie. The truth is, Tali, I would make a very bad Captain.”
She started at that, “No, you’re…!”
“I would.” Was the calm response, “I play favourites after all.”
He reached a hand up as he said that, gently holding the back of her neck, under her hood. It was the place of the Quarian’s suits that had the thinnest material, making this a highly intimate gesture.
She immediately started fidgeting with her fingers, “I… That’s…” She shivered as he gently stroked her, giving up, “Oh…”
“Tali. On the surface of Rannoch, you said you loved me.” He leaned his forehead down to touch it to her helmet, “Do you remember what I said back?”
“Keelah Se’lai…” She breathed, eyes widening in realisation, “By the home I hope to see again…”
“Yes.” His deep, human voice rumbled in her chest, “I meant it.”
Her breath caught in her throat, her heart pounding in her chest. She reached up, her hands trembling, clasping the Commander’s clothes. She pulled herself into his chest, hiding her face plate from his smiling eyes.
“When I went back to the Migrant Fleet. After the SR1.” She mumbled into the him, “Like was colourless. Flat. It felt like I was just going through the motions. I was surrounded by my people, doing necessary work, being where I belonged… But it felt lonely. Oh so lonely. When I saw you on Freedom’s Progress, it was like all my prayers were answered at once.”
She pulled back, looking into his chocolate eyes, “And now you’ve done the impossible. The Quarians have Rannoch, we’re no longer afraid of the Geth… Everything is so much better thanks to you, even with the Reapers invading. I know, with all my heart, we’ll win this and our future will only be brighter. Thanks to you.”
He smiled, speaking to her softly, “Thank you. Your being by my side, your… you just being you means so much to me. I love you Tali, I should tell you that more often.”
She placed her hand on his cheek, barely feeling Shepard’s stubble through the rubber glove. She leaned up on her toes, bringing her voice modulator near his ear so she could whisper, “Take me to your cabin.”
He grinned, bringing up his hand out from her hood and placing it over hers, his five fingers entwining with her three and gently lifting it off his face. Turning around, her gently started leading her out of the observation deck.

This was always the worst part. Taking off her suit was an arduous, involved process. Dozens of seals, clasps and straps were what kept her lifeline secure, but it also doubled as a prison. Especially when she wanted to be intimate with Shepard.
She was waiting for him to finish sanitizing himself, washing with the special soap that had been recommended by Mordin. The reminder of their late friend sent a pang of melancholy through her, which she quickly shook off. Now was not the time for such things. AS she saw Shepard step out of the shower, she refocused on the purpose of her request. Rewarding her hero.
Her face plate hissed, the seal loosening as it disengaged, allowing Shepard to gently release the clasps and lift it off her helmet. It was a ritual that they had formed every time they shared a moment like this, for the brief months after the Collector base. She smiled, the first time this happened, before the Omega 4 relay, she was so worried. Quarians were so different to humans, she worried that he would find her ugly, unattractive. She knew that wasn’t the case now.
Now, every time he way her uncovered face, his face lit up. It was like a young boy receiving a gift.
She found it surprisingly cute. As if sensing her thoughts, her brought his lips to hers, gently kissing her before pulling back slightly.
“Beautiful.” His breath tickled her skin, her overly sensitive skin tingling at the sensation.
“That’s embarrassing…” She muttered, looking away from his cheeky grin.
“Haha, sorry.” He spoke, “Let me help you.”
He started to move his hands over her suit, loosening buckles, opening clasps, Loosening the barrier between them. She could feel the ghost of his touch through the suit, watching his hands glide atop so gracefully. Remembering herself, she started to unseal and remove the loosened pieces, starting with her gloves.
The material slid off, exposing her desaturated lilac skin to the cool air of the cabin. It was something she despised about her body, how pale she was. In another time, her skin would have been a deep, vibrant purple. Now, after so long in their suits, the Quarians had lost their natural colouring, only traces remaining in their pale hides.
She jumped as Shepard covered her one of her hands with his two strong, warm ones. Bringing the limb up to his face, Shepard gently kissed her palm. The ticklish feeling of his stubble around his mouth caused her to involuntarily giggle, prompting him to smile warmly at her.
The tension broken, she swiftly started removing the rest of the suit. The clasp cinching her waist, the tube holding her hair, the gorget around her neck. Every time a new expanse was revealed, Shepard made sure to caress or kiss it, the slow, tender touches adding up to leave her at an absolute boil.
The arousal didn’t make the rest of the suit come off faster, in fact the time it took the rest of it became rather agonizing. Sherpard didn’t stop teasing her, even with the pleading looks she sent him, seeming to enjoy making her squirm. The fastening down her spine was the worst, his knuckled gently trailing a river of fire down the ridge.
She stepped out of her boots, finally able to fully divest herself of her cage, before turning on the smug human.
“You look…” He was cut off by her slamming into him, lips aggressively sealing his ability to speak.
He stumbled back into the wall next to the large fish tank, taken completely by surprise. Using her advantage over him, knowing that a Quarian’s leg muscles are stronger than any human limb, she wrapped her leg around his hips. Her hold secured, her had no way to escape. Escape was the last thing on the human’s mind, however.
His hands went to her hips, caressing a burning trail over her skin before he went lower and grabbed her firmly by her ass. This caused her gasp, head flying back as he took advantage of the space to bite gently on her neck, causing her to shudder as he sucked.
“You always go for my ass, Shepard.” She teased, breathless and struggling to maintain some control of the situation, “Is this a.. what was the human word? Is this your fetish?”
“No Tali.” He pulled back grinning at her. Using his firm grip, he dragged her forward, along a very hard, very hot protrusion between her thighs, “It’s because it’s yours.”
“Stop being so sappy, bosh’teeeeeeeet!” She groaned as he dragged her backwards and forwards, grinding up into her.
“I thought you liked me being sappy.” He smarmed.
“Shut uuuup!” She whined, breaths coming out in pants.
It was always a feature of their time together. As touch-starved as she was, Shepard made her come undone with ease. That didn’t stop her from fighting back, however. She rolled her hips, using her advantage in the position to grind down on his dick, causing him to let out a moan of surprise. She grinned messily, happy at the victory.
A victory that was swiftly undone when Shepard turned them around. One moment she had him pinned to the wall, the next she was the one with her back against it with the big human looming over her. Her blood sang in her veins, the thrill enhancing the moment, making her more aware of every sensation.
She stared up at him, her hero, her Captain, and whispered, “Take me.”
He pulled back his hips, and thrust forward, his thick ,human cock piercing deep into her. The feelings were intense, causing her to screw her eyes shut as she basked in the fullness. This wasn’t the first time they had done this but she could never get used to the feeling of being so… stuffed. It felt like she would burst, Shepard just filling her, making her his. Her pussy fluttered around him, the first of many orgasms overtaking her.
Then he moved. Heedless of her afterglow, he pulled back, hips slowly dragging himself out of her. The feeling of emptiness, of coldness, that he left behind was driving her mad. Then he thrust back in and she saw stars. Then he repeated the whole process over again.
They soon established a rhythm, Shepard thrusting in as she rolled her hips to meet him. The wet slapping sound of their hips meeting filled the room, a pounding bassline to her moans and Shepard’s grunts. The sensations built on each other, Tali having been cumming for a while now, but she was struggling to tell where one orgasm began and another ended.
She loved it. Her sensitive body was like an instrument, that her Captain was playing masterfully. Of course, all good things come to an end eventually, as it did when they both came undone, Shepard thrusting as his warmth blossomed deeply inside of her. The cabin fell strangely silent in contrast the frantic sounds that had filled it until recently.
“Damn Tali.” Came Shepard’s laboured voice, “If that’s the reward, you have any other planets you want me to get for you?”
A fond smile on her face, she replied, “Just the one was enough. Besides, what makes you think I’m finished?”
It was a transparent bluff, her shaking legs showing the truth of her readiness to go again. The happy smile that spread on her human’s face in response to it made her resolve to back up her claim.

“I can’t feel my legs.” Her voice was exhausted, matching with her appearance as a puddle of melted Quarian goo, draped over her boyfriend’s chest.
Her Human boyfriend.
It still struck her at times. It was exceedingly selfish of her, to date a human like this. For one who had given up so much for her people, it was almost unthinkable. She knew that if her father was here to see it, he would be overcome with rage. The thought, rather than brining it’s usual melancholy, brought a slight giggle, only to be interrupted by a shiver as the fluids stuck to her body cooled as they were exposed to the air.
A warm blanket, being draped over her by an even warmer arm, suddenly appeared over her shoulders. She could feel the rumble in his chest as Shepard spoke, “Sorry. Should I go easier on you?”
“Don’t you dare.” She responded, snuggling her head into his chest, drawing as much of his heat as she could, “No matter how sore I am afterwards, it’s still totally worth it.”
