Here's to the future

Hey! I want to start writing longer, blog-esque posts to talk about things in broader detail than the current twitter thread system, so I'm gonna be making public posts on patreon. The goal here is mainly for announcements and transparency.

So first, some really cool news: I hit 1,000+ followers!

And to make it all the more impressive, it was in less than four months! For reference, the tumblr was around from december 2017 until november 2018 and only attained around 700. Crazy stuff! Thank you all so much!

Plans for February, or lack thereof.

So this is the part where I'm going to vent and talk a little personally about myself. To put it in the simplest possible terms, I'm going through a super hard bout of depression right now and I've been dangerously close to burning out multiple times over the month. I already struggle with promises if you haven't been able to tell, but in this state it's only gotten worse. With that in mind, I want to try and reduce the burden on myself and just work on renders as I go along, whenever I can really. Until medication arrives (long story) I'm operating on a "when it's ready" release schedule. With that in mind, I need to talk about the splat-pack. You might also see  more SFW content for the time being.

SPLAT PACK UPDATE

For those of you who didn't know, I've been working on and off to create a pack of NSFW splatoon renders for months now. Mainly as a challenge to myself but also more of a project out of spite for the more.... let's just say "questionably behaved" members I have to share a community with, because if I can do splatoon content without thinking its acceptable behavior for a grown adult to dox children, so can you!

Unfortunately due to the above mentioned depression I haven't really been working on it at all. And looking at some of the finished content, I don't think they quite live up to the standards and techniques I have now compared to what I had then. They're good, but they could be made great.

With that in mind, I'm going to be restarting development and/or enhancement of my currently "finished" renders. Some of these are intended to be very slight touchups, but others are fairly radical overhauls. But I'm going to make those better before I work on new material, and once the new stuff is done, it'll be ready for release!
