reacting to BTS at the grammys 2022 in a nutshell

After watching Beyond the Star tonight, the Grammy's were on my MIND so i thought it was finally the perfect time to watch this video!

It's wild how much energy BTS poured into their grammy nomination, performances and all of the interviews they did with their basic questions that i know were sending Namjoon into spirals LOL but at the end of the day, our kings were nominated for a GRAMMY which is HUGE and like Yoongi said "We just stopped by the Grammy's on the way to our concert"

P-P-P-P-PEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERIOD!

It's amazing that they pulled it off with everything going on! And Jimin was in the hospital two months before that too with appendicitis. Like it was a chain of bad luck from the beginning of the year. They killed it though! There's lots of behind the scenes stuff here--you can see how they were missing Hobi a lot: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hr1OSHf3S2Q

This was a great night even without the award, I was so proud of their performance (and Jungkook's amazing immune system that cleared the covid in 5 days exactly so he could attend 😂). It was so good that I had family, friends, etc. texting me about it. I had my expectations low for the award bc the Academy voters suck, but still disappointing. Something else fun to watch is the behind Episode from the 2019 Grammys, when they were first invited to present an award. Very cute moments of them enjoying performances 🥺 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4lv5Sxt4MRI

I really like Kiss Me More by Doja and SZA and it was a hit for sure but it really deserved t more than butter... ? the other nominees were Lonely by Justin Bieber and Benny Blanco, I get Kick Out of You by Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett, and Higher Power by Coldplay. Although they were all strong competitors, Butter by BTS was really at the top! it was literally the song that spent the most weeks at number one on the Billboard Hot 100 IN 2021! the second artist was Olivia Rodrigo. Taking in mind this was a category for Top Pop Duo/group Performance, Butter should have won because the impact of the performance itself. it was way crazier than the others! Even so many locals were confused when they announced the winner. Also, one of the biggest complains was that songs like Kiss Me More are considered more for the "Best Pop Collaboration" category and not as a group or duo. But it's okay I honestly don't mind that much but they winning over Butter in that year was kinda insane. There's a reason why BTS won ARTIST OF THE WAY in the AMAs.. literally the biggest award! This was really during their peak peachy! Armys are probably not that mad about who wins against if it's a hit but looking at the numbers and impact it shows how much they got robbed in nominations and it makes us mad how Grammys used BTS for clout announcing all the time their performance is next when it wasn't and announcing the winners of that category until the end when usually it's not like that and stuff It's the fact (and irony) that BTS lost that Grammy award but was named either way as the best performance of the night, got standing ovation, and the next days they used that venue for a live viewing for armys that couldn't get into their 4 concerts in the largest stadium Las Vegas lmao I wonder what other artists think! During that time Las Vegas was literally Borahaegas and BTS was EVERYWHERE in the city. SO ICONIC! Their impact💅🏻 Yoongi wasn't lying when he said Grammys wasn't the main thing there haha

If I don't remember incorrectly, Jimin was recovering from an appendicitis surgery, during which he also tested positive for covid. Trully stressful times
