We'll be moving to Steam by the end of July

I've been playing with the Steam SDK for about a month now and its really good. Therefore we'll be moving house to Steam by the end of July
As atm we still undergo a rigid review process from Steam, which we really appreciate from their team, the game is already playable and a lot better than itch.io. You can tell some experience like the client downloads a lot faster, no need for game key text file, and a better authentication server which never fails (unlike itch.io sadly T_T)
The steps to convert from itch.io to Steam is as below:
first you still need an itch.io game key, then you can follow this guide to own it and finish step 1 How to get game key after purchase - itch.io
we will rework the website which instead of generating a gamekey.txt, it gives you a steam key instead. You can then download the beta version of Head Collector VR using this guide below
To redeem an alpha key on Steam, follow these steps: Launch the Steam client. Click on "Games" in the top toolbar. Select "Activate a Product on Steam". Enter your product code and click "Next". If successful, the product will be added to your libraryand then, voila, you just need to click on the game icon on steam, and it will automatically launch the game in Steam VR. And enjoy!
After we get to Steam, we will start doing some fun stuffs. I'd like to try out highscores and achievements, for example, who is the best executioner or who is the greatest fighter. Also I have some deep dark and dirty ideas in mind to make the game more fun, and can make you play more. For example you could have your own villagers and you can raid someone village and leave some "message" there, like putting the heads of their villagers on spikes. I'd explore this idea further when I play a little bit more with steam sdk
