May Progress Post

Hello everyone. My name is Katie and...you already knew that? Oh...well I'm here to let you know that we at Strider's Sundries have some exciting updates planned for you. Unfortunately our writer had a family emergency and so things have been delayed a little...but don't worry, a lot of work has been done already and with some optimism the next update can be out as early as this month! That's exciting right?

Um content, right... Uh, the last update stopped right before Miss Strider began to gather evidence and resources required to prevent a Goldstein corporate takeover. Oh! I just got the name... Err, so the new update is going to focus on all the various paths you can take to help Miss Strider gather as much or as little resources as she can before confronting Goldstein for the last time. She won't be able to do it alone, so you'll have to help her decide where to focus her efforts, and who to use to get as much done as possible.

There's a work in progress clothing update too. So that you can wear whatever you want- err so Miss Strider can wear what you want. Obviously you won't be wearing the clothes...unless you really wanted to I guess. Uh...anyway I'll see if I can remember all the specifics...there was a lot... Let's see... Hmm? There's a list? Well why couldn't we just show them that? Eye candy? What are you- Oh! Don't look! That's embarrassing!

New story content:
-You or a trusted follower can investigate up to 5 different complainants in order to find an edge on Goldstein. How well these investigations go will depend on how many you're able to do and who you choose to use to follow up on them.
-New options for investigating Goldstein found on Sadie's computer.
-Introduction to your personal attorney, Miss Mindy Light, who will be key to your eventual takedown of Goldstein.
-Tied up loose paths in New U gym.
-Introduction to Ms. Bz and a potential ally, or foe in Rachel Moss.
-Introduction to Goldstein (No that's not a typo)

New Follower Content:
-Katie becomes more fully utilized as a companion, giving her scenes to enjoy and things to do.
-Expanded options for Monica based on what you decided to do with her after the initial Goldstein meeting (if anything).

Quality of Life:
-Auto changing (work in progress) Certain outfits are required for certain areas such as Business Outfit for work and Work-Out Outfit for the gym (this reduces a TON of workload on me and allows me to fit a lot more outfits into the game), but it can be annoying to go home and change every time. So I'm putting in special rooms which serve as "changing rooms." They won't always be called changing rooms (such as your Office at work) but they will automatically change whatever outfit you're wearing into location appropriate attire, then when you've left the area automatically change you back. If I can get this working the way I want, there is even potential for fun scenes depending upon what outfit you arrive in, such as arriving to work in a bikini. I also wanted to make the mini dress something that could set Sadie up as a bigger target for potential mind controllers, and this seems to be a good way to implement that.
