Sadly like Myke said there is no actual way to stop the scalpers getting their hands on multiple PS5s. A UK scalper got 3,500 copies when it launched as well as many other scalpers getting hundreds. Some sites have actually made algorithms to stop bots from buying the consoles faster than the actual humans trying to purchase but these algorithms have actually stopped regular people from getting consoles as well. The big idea/rumor is that Sony is making a mass amount of Ps5s to inflate the market and basically stop the scalpers from reselling at higher prices due to the supply that will be out. We don’t know when the restock is happening but late December early January is likely atm.

Myke is right that realistically we shouldn't have to go fucking crazy and be willing to pay scumbag scalpers cause we want it that badly, since they're going to make more and they'll be a steady stream of systems after year 1 (in most cases). I guess it falls more in line with keeping up with e jones' and shit and wanting to be someone who has it first. same bs with waiting in line for iphones (do they still do that?). We just fucking crazy
