Full Of It #283 - The Murder of Sheena Bora

If this was a story arc on Knots Landing you'd be well within your rights to hurl a shoe at the TV for its implausibility. In deciding what to make this extra-large pod about, I knew I wanted to cover a mystery so naturally I turned to Netflix. The Indrani Mukerjea Story: Buried Truth had only recently arrived so I clicked on episode 1 and found myself gasping for air on so many occasions through it's 4-episode run that my throat suffered wind damage.

Sheena Bora was an Indian business woman who vanished from Mumbai in April of 2012. What transpired after her disappearance is a string of events surrounding a relative of hers; Indrani Mukerjea, whose name has come to be overwhelmingly infamous in India.

This pod contains details pertaining to murder and SA.

Welcome back to the pod Lymp! Long comment incoming...I have been a patron since end of 2023 (although been watching on YouTube for years) so I have had so many episodes to catch up on. I am behind on all my other pods because I just can't stop listening to this one! I find the topics you cover so interesting and weirdly relevant to me. Here's a little story I thought of after listening to the one about Habbo Hotel. For context I was a pretty big loser in school and no boys liked me IRL so I used to seek out validation online of course. I met this guy on Habbo and got his email address to add him on MSN when I was about 14 (classic move). Chatted to him for years and he even became infatuated with one of my school friends (not me, gutted). I grew up in the Scottish Borders and he was from Dundee which is 2 hours away. There was me thinking that was ages away and I would never go there...fast forward and where do I end up for uni? So one day I was wandering around Tesco with my boyfriend and I turn into the cereal aisle and who do I see, Callum from Habbo Hotel. Safe to say I swiftly turned around and ran away as I thought introducing myself would be the weirdest thing on earth! Anyway looking forward to the new eps! ❤️

It was clear what you were actually trying to say but the way you said that the skeletal remains “were in fact dead” I envisioned a hokey-inept police investigator stumbling upon a skeleton and proclaiming “I think she’s dead.”
