If this is not the place to discuss it, Sapph please feel free to remove this. Before reading this keep in mind that this is my opinion and interpretation of the events. It is not necessarily 100% fact. In summary tho basically there was a user who posted english TGTF fiction after having put it through Google translate. This user also put a bunch of.. if not intentionally transphobic, at least trans-insensitive comments on other’s stories. People asked for this user to be banned or at least suspended with a reason why, but Joe went on this diatribe as to why TGST was more of a fetish site (even tho the most favorited story isn’t a fetish thing, it’s a trans life thing) and how it isn’t their job to remove transphobia or other hate speech. It opened up a conversation but Joe just doubled down on the position and authors started leaving the site because of it. Personally, the story quality has gone way down since.
