It hits some of the same storybeats, like how Blitz got the book etc. and introduces the characters while also being more consistent with the show overall. In the initial Pilot the characterization was a bit off compared to now, for example Stolas initially was planned to be more of a villain compared to what he is now. I really like this new Pilot, and there is a fun little teaser in there. In the ending song there is an artwork with some of the major characters, like Stella, Striker, the Cherubs etc. And there is a character in there, mostly obscured by shadows, that hasn´t shown up yet. Also, when the Imps accidentally run over that girl, thats a little easter egg. Those people are supposed to be Viv, the creator, and Brandon Rogers, Blitz´VA. So Blitz and Co just murdered their own creator.
