*There's a possibility that the US version may desync slightly right after the opening credits (they are slightly longer on this version). I've tried to allow for this when editing but if it does, that's the only time it should happen.
If you're wondering why there are two versions for this movie/TV show, it's because of the discrepancy between the running time of PAL and NTSC. While most streaming services (Netflix, Disney+, etc) no longer use these formats, some here in the UK do - Now TV, BBC iPlayer, etc. All of this is to say that, if you find one version unsyncing from your copy of the movie/show, try the other. I've adjusted the speeds so the UK/Europe version should be PAL and the US version should sync up with everything else.

For copyright reasons, full-length reactions don't include the show or movie footage, so you'll need your own copy to watch along with me. Ideally, you'll need two screens or two browser windows. One for the reaction, and the other for the show you're watching. Using your phone is also viable to watch one of them.
As many different streaming services in different countries often play trailers or recaps before the show starts, the easiest way I've found to sync up footage is to find the first RECOGNISABLE frame (ie. not a black screen) of the episode. Don't worry, I'll show you the frame to look for at the beginning of each full-length reaction!
This will be:
✨The first frame of the opening credits.✨
OR
✨The first frame of the cold open.✨
Once you've found the approximate frame on your copy, pause it. Next, play the reaction and you'll see a countdown timer at the end of the intro and when the show is about to start. Press "play" on your copy when the timer reaches 0:00.
A small (but muted) portion of the show will stay on the screen to allow you to properly sync up your copy if you need to adjust it. The easiest way to eliminate any small discrepancies between the two is to rapidly pause and unpause the video that's ahead until both are running simultaneously.
Note: Some of my older shows might have the first frame after the opening credits.

Great reaction as always. So happy you're getting to this one. Make no mistake, this isn't about shock value. Speaking from my own perspective (and I would imagine most others that wanted you to see this) I just wanted you to experience this as it's an absolutely amazing drama on almost every level (direction, writing, performances, cinematography). There's nothing in this that's there just for the sake of just grossing out an audience or overdramatizing it. This is strictly a hard hitting drama about the realities of what happened at the time. I was 15 when this happened and remember seeing the news broadcasts here in the states and the questioning about fallout and how it would affect the surrounding countries or even the rest of the world. This was of course before we ever had the internet and compounded by it still being Soviet Russia and the end of the cold war. The rest of the world was in the dark in regards to what was really going on, and as shown here, arrogance and pride in the socialist state led to some pretty horrific decisions (and heroic actions by unsung heroes). The thing to really focus on going forward aside from the gripping story is the absolutely amazing performances from Stellan Skarsgård and Jared Harris. They absolutely slay in this, as does the entire supporting cast. Some characters have been used to represent entire groups of people as it would be literally impossible to include everyone involved with the incident, but the story was handled with grace and the writing is absolutely phenomenal.
