Small update regarding Apple users

It seems like many big companies lately, apple, too, fail to understand how real life economy works, and taking some actions that will probably harm them in the near future.

And as a freelancer that just really getting started, i won't lie that scared me quite a bit, as i did not want anything bad happening, especially now that BWU is finally start growing. So I took some time to check with these new changes and I want to summarize to you what i have learned so far, and how this effect BWU (and patreon as a whole):

In sorts, Apple will charge it's users about a 30% cut for its subscriptions. Why? Because they want a cut of every creator out there, not just what Patreon pays them, it seems. Note though, that patreon is taking steps to support all its creators, and patrons from this, so please do pay attention to what they can provide, but i will also say that you can just stop using the apple patreon version app, all together, and you won't have any issues.
The change though seems will hit mainly creators that have subscriptions services that charge you in weekly bases, or per update, and that again only if you are from an apple app (and probably pc, too, if i am not mistaken)
To avoid this, Patreon is working towards to create some new services over time, that are similar to what you guys were have all this time, and all this will be start applying by November 2024, and you will have time to do this changes up to the end of 2025.

Now as for BWU, well, nothing changes for us here. I am not an apple user (and been given more reason never to be one, sorry apple, not sorry). BWU payments are not gonna be affected nor change either, as i am using a steady monthly subscription model, that are not affected by the changes, so all stays the same.
BUT, be careful to all patron apple users that want to join or are already subscribed: my prices are and will remain as they are, but if you decide to support me via apple services, then apple will charge you that extra 30% each time as well. Neither me, nor Patreon is charging you anything extra than what you see on the services of the platform.
So if you want to subscribe to me, or to any other patreon creator, i highly suggest and recommend you to do so through a none apple browser.
